How it Started…

It was Claude & Goldie Stacy who gave this property the feel of home. In the early 40’s they built our home and raised their 9 children here. Claude married many couples on the front steps of this home in his role as Justice of the Peace for Boone County.

Jon & Michelle Louden had the idea of continuing this tradition with an affordable wedding venue after experiencing their own children’s weddings at barn venues. They felt there was a need for an affordable venue, complete with an onsite cozy cabin as part of the experience.

They were so excited to share this beautiful property. Many couples started their futures at The Barn at Cricket Creek over the years.

A Change of Times and a Change of Hands…

New owners, Wally & Cuchi Hollier, continue to carry on Jon & Michelle’s dream in 2023 and on. Opening up the winter and summer months with improvements such as heating and cooling in The Barn, making it a year-round venue. Even more improvements and expansions on the property are coming!
